Chris Anderson, DDS calls Annapolis his hometown. He completed his undergraduate training at Wake Forest University in North Carolina. While at Wake Forest, he received a Sloan Scholarship for Music Performance. He received his doctorate of dental surgery at the University of Maryland, Baltimore College of Dental Surgery, where he graduated with honors and was inducted into the Gamma Pi Delta Prosthodontic Honor Society. He was then selected for an optional year of advanced training in a General Practice Residency Program in Chicago at the prestigious Loyola University Medical Center. While in his program in Chicago, he was awarded two distinguished honors. The first was the Loyola “Magis Star”, which is awarded for exceptional patient care. The second was the “Resident of the Year Award”, which recognized his accomplishments, both clinical and academic, during his program.
It has always been Dr. Anderson’s dream to practice dentistry in his hometown of Annapolis. “Coming home to Annapolis with my wife, Katie, and joining a quality, leading practice like Dr. Finlay’s, is a dream come true.” He brings to the practice his professional talents and relaxed chairside manner. He is also certified in the Invisalign Orthodontic Technique as well as Dental Lasers. Dr. Anderson has studied at the Dawson Academy for Advanced Dental Studies in St. Petersburg, Florida. He shares Dr. Finlay’s passion for continuing education and strives to provide the finest care available today.
Dr. Anderson shares a strong commitment to the community. He has served in many capacities as a volunteer for those in need, including missions to the Dominican Republic, Guatemala, Spain and Louisiana in the aftermath of Katrina. He is also fluent in Spanish.
Dr. Anderson and his wife live in Annapolis, Maryland. He enjoys music, running, boating on the Bay, and camping.
